Pick a club and play the computer. Win the d20 duel and the at-bat is read from your player's card.
The computer picks a different all-time great club to face you each game. You're the home team.
Every at-bat is a duel. You and the computer each roll a 20-sided die, and the higher roll decides whose card the play comes from: the hitter's or the pitcher's.
Whoever wins the duel rolls two 10-sided dice for a number from 01 to 100. The computer finds that number on the card, plays it out and keeps score.
Cards are built from each player's real season, adjusted for the league he played in.
When the moment is right you can also make a call before the pitch: steal, sacrifice bunt or, in the field, an intentional walk. The computer makes its own.
Pick your club and press Play ball.
The box score appears here when the game ends.
